Help!  I’ve spilt something on my carpet – what do I do?

What is the difference between laminate and timber wood flooring?
There is a certain warmth and glow only a wood floor can give a home.  Timber flooring is made with a real timber layer on top of a HDF core and offers all the advantages of traditional flooring, without the dust and coating fumes associated with solid timber installations.

However if you love that timber floor look but are concerned about durability, or the budget, there are laminate floors.  They are shaped like timber flooring but the top layer is actually a photograph.  They are beautiful but also very tough and easy to clean.  Perfect if you have a busy family and pets.

I’m renovating my home, when should I get the carpet done?
The floor takes up a huge amount of your home.  And while it may make sense to choose your carpet early on at the same time as the rest of your decorating decisions, it is best to have your carpet laid as the last thing you do when renovating. 

I know the manufacturer has a warranty on the carpet itself, but what if there is a problem with the installation?
