Spend some time on the Tiles...
Ceramic tiles are an age old product, and the timeless choice. They can add that special touch of class to a home and are one of your most durable flooring options.
With beautiful imported ranges available in a huge selection of materials, textures, colours, sizes, shapes and prices, tiles are great in utility areas, but can also be used imaginatively in many other areas of the home, too.
And to help keep your toes toasty in winter, you should also consider under-floor heating. Conversely, they are the only flooring product that can absorb heat and store it, making them ideal in a sunny conservatory or kitchen!
Ceramic Tiles Made from baked clay, ceramic tiles are very hard and strong. They come in all shades of yellow through brown, and textures will also vary from smooth to rough. Ceramics can be patterned, hand painted and glazed.
Porcelain Tiles are made of denser, less porous material and fired at higher temperatures than ceramic tiles. This makes them more resistant to water, scratches, stains, bacteria and odours. Solid porcelain tiles have the same colour throughout the tile so if they do chip or scratch the colour doesn’t change. |
